It is taking the time to identify and commit to some of the activities that nurture you. Self-care, as the term implies, is about taking proper care of yourself and treating yourself as kindly as you treat others.

This may come in the way of bright, healthy foods for your nutritional needs, physical exercise for heart health and fitness, a therapeutic massage for achy muscles and joints, or just some quiet time to yourself; away from life’s demands.
